Richard Huber - President of Invina

Throughout his career Huber has always been fascinated by the amazing technological advances in agriculture. He has at one time or another invested in tree farms in Argentina & the state of Georgia, an animal feed company in Mexico, two cattle ranching ventures in the Amazon basin, another one in Paraguay that transitioned into a soybean farm & a pure soybean operation in the cerrado region in the Brazilian state of Bahia. He & a son own & operate a railcar leasing company in Brazil that largely provides rolling stock for the grain industry. Some 20 years ago he invested in & became a director of the only company in the world to receive FDA approval for the production & sale of a genetically modified fish (salmon) grown in Price Edward Island, Canada, & the state of Indiana. The company, AquaBounty, delivered its first commercial shipment of fish to the market just last month
